Static sift is dry sift refined with static electricity. Resin heads are shaken from dried flower through fine screens, then a charged surface pulls the lighter plant matter away and leaves the heads behind. No water, no solvents. It is the heart of Golden Heads Warriors.

What is static sift hash?
Static sift hash is dry sift taken one step further. Resin heads are first shaken from dried flower through fine screens. Then a charged surface is held above the sift: static electricity pulls up the lightest particles, mostly bits of plant matter and broken stalks, and leaves the heavier resin heads behind. No water, no heat and no solvents are involved.
The result is among the cleanest dry hash there is. The best static sift can come close to full melt, which means it melts almost completely when heated.
How to choose static sift
- Micron range. Labels such as "90u" or "73-120u" show which screens the resin came through. Mid ranges often hold the most mature heads.
- Color and texture. Light, sandy or golden sift that turns glossy when warmed is a good sign of clean resin.
- Aroma. Static sift keeps the plant's terpenes, so the smell should match the strain on the label.
Static sift vs dry sift and bubble hash
All static sift is dry sift, but not all dry sift is cleaned with static. Compared with ice water hash, static sift never touches water, so there is no drying step. Read the full static sift guide or compare the methods in bubble hash vs dry sift.
